There are 23 cryptocurrency exchanges registered in Japan by FSA (Financial Services Agency) at the moment. The last registered exchange is Oksoin Japan, which currently accepts registrations for opening an account.
Recall that in Japan, cryptocurrencies were legalized in April 2017 in accordance with the Law on Payment Services. All cryptocurrency exchanges in Japan are registered with the FSA since September 2017.
