Microsoft: at the moment we are not planning to invest in Bitcoin
Microsoft doesn’t have any short-term Bitcoin investment plans. This was announced in an interview for CNN on February 16 by the president of the company, Brad Smith.

However, he admitted that the company could still change its mind about investing in bitcoin.
Asked by host Julia Chatterley if Microsoft is discussing any plans to invest in cryptocurrencies following Tesla’s $ 1.5 billion investment, Microsoft’s president replied, “I haven’t heard a single new conversation about Bitcoin. But let me just say that if we change our investment policy towards bitcoin, then you, Julia, will know about it first or, in extreme cases, second.”
Bitcoin’s market capitalization is now ahead of several of the world’s largest companies. Bitcoin even surpassed Tesla’s market cap shortly after the company announced its investment in Bitcoin.
At the time of publication, the capitalization of bitcoin is $ 948 billion after breaking the $ 51,000 mark. Bitcoin will need to double its market capitalization to reach the level of Microsoft, whose capitalization at the time of publication is $ 1.8 trillion.
